An unidentified man wearing a hijab has been arrested by the police in Niger state.
The man was arrested in a Model School at Unguwar Iya in Suleja area of the state.
reports had it that he sneaked into the unfenced school from the backyard.
Sources at the school informed City News that the suspect was noticed by a staff around the school’s library on Wednesday.
One of the sources said the suspect was immediately rounded up and handed over to the Principal of the school before he was moved to the police ‘A ’division in the town.
It was gathered that there was nothing incriminating found in his possession and that the suspect kept pleading with the school management over the incident.
When contacted, the Divisional Police Officer of the station, Francis Ekanem, a Chief Superintendent, declined comment on the incident and directed all enquiries to the state police command.
